On King’s Day itself
Lelystad expects many visitors on King’s Day. During previous royal visits, the centre of the host city was largely closed to cars. Which roads will be closed in 2027 and where you can park will be announced later by the municipality and the organisers.
Our advice:
- Come by train, bus or bike.
- Arrive early: the best spots along the route fill up quickly.
- On the day itself, check the journey planner for extra trains or engineering works.
